A few days ago comrade –member of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire Olga Economidou was transported with a special transfer from Thebes prisons to the female prisons of Diavata.

Her transportation took place within the frames of a disciplinary transfer imposed on her, because of her attitude and her decency which could not be tolerated from the Thebes prison service.

When they took her to Diavata prisons, she refused to be submitted to the procedure of the humiliating body search resulting to the comrade now being alone in a newcomer’s cell. She has refused to enter Diavata prisons asking to be transferred elsewhere, while at the same time in her cell there is a cctv camera which has already been covered twice from Olga causing the reaction of the prison guards.

Hunger strikes and the prospect of a fighting community within the walls.



Last month 2 separate hunger strikes were carried out by anarchist
prisoners, where one of them did not succeed and the other one won. Some
of the comrades who went on hunger strike had put a very strong target to
achieve. The creation of a fighting circle, which aim at the search of
common fields of definition between prisoners. A circle which will connect
with the outside the walls incidents breaking the isolation, giving images
of revolts with fires from the streets of the city to the rooftops of the
hellholes.
Despite all this such a prospect with the current facts seems far away.
The split which emerges within the walls, only contributes to the
shredding of the fighting circle and the internalization of a partition.
To show demands that have such a common axis competitively reduces rather
than accentuates our common struggle. The cohesion of the fighting base is
a one-way road for the creation of a collective. More specifically, if the
anarchist hostages carried out the hunger strike under a common prism,
they would have given the chance to more prisoners to stand by them in
solidarity with various actions, but the hunger strike instead of getting
stronger with time was weakened resulting in the ending of one. As well
the acceptance of defeat is an action that is honest but the hunger strike
is the last weapon in the prisoners struggle and a use of it that will
bring an unexpected interruption and defeat, weakens its power.

On Saturday 28/4 we attacked a block in the area of Kifissia burning the
parked cars of Levitou street, luxurious and not.
It was a move in solidarity to the hunger strikes carried out by the
imprisoned members of the R.O. Conspiracy Cells of Fire and Anarchist
Theofilos Mavropoulos demanding the final transfer of guerrillas
G.Tsakalos and P.Argirou to Koridalos as well as the ceasing of the
vengeful transfers. (something they achieved with persistence).
This action has a clear aim and target to hurt the calmness of the rich
suburbs of the capital. It was a first approach to the well-fed of Kifisia
reminding them that their parasitical life will get the punishment it
deserves. We notify them that nothing will insure them from our morbid
imagination, no matter how many outposts they build, how many courtier
bouncers they hire. They will always be exposed to our aggressive
appetites. Their prosperity is gained by the exploitation of others and
they will pay for this decision sooner or later. No matter how much they
might be cut off from the miserable and enclaved like a prison urban
landscape, no matter how far they have gone the inhumane Athens, the
distance remains small compared to the stubbornness of revenge. Thus at
some point while they will be drinking their coffee with their vulgar
snobbish look, they will receive a visit from many of us, and with the
smile of a donator we will return the perversion they gave to us with a
bullet in the forehead.



Social Responsibilities and the ineffectual of the monothematic Class
Approach



Capitalistic societies are based on inequality and this is what they owe
their existence to. A ride with the train would be enough for anyone to
understand the massive social contradictions. The contradictive
coexistence of wealth and poverty, dozing certainty and stressful
survival. An exhaustive hierarchy maintained by ignorance, fear, stupidity
and oppression. For the perpetual accumulation of the wealth to the few
however many are to blame who let it go out of their hands without a
battle and we cannot sacrifice the immaturity to the altar of coquetry.
Every person who considers themselves as weak is charged with their
submission. We do not synchronize with the endurance and tolerance in
exploitation, whether personal or of others, but with every way we will
pursuit its expulsion from the behaviours of people in the relations
created without humanisms.

Therefore we recognize our attack as an act with class characteristics but
not with a class character. It is obvious who we turn our aggressiveness
to, what kind of people. But despite all this we are not representatives
of a class total neither are we messengers of a class conscience. We do
not mediate for anyone just like we do not want a mediator. We are
individualists since what we say write and do are not hiding behind them a
divine will and we are not armed by a global secret conscience, but our
passion for freedom. To believe that deep in the desires of every
oppressed existence there is common destination are stupid thoughts which
idealize the situations, ignoring the difficulties of the liberating
struggle. Whoever recognizes the anarchist revolution as a deductive
procedure and a will from the skies which will be planted in the heads of
the people because of poverty is condemned to never attribute what they
dream.

This is why we realize the collectivisations of people which are based on
their common class characteristics as clouds which even if they rain they
will always hide the sun. A unification of people who belong to the same
economic and social layer, under a predetermined revolutionary future is a
hasty deposition of hope. The class and economic situation is not a womb
of revolution, but one more possibility, a faze just like many others
which will present themselves on your path and will make you deny your
life and that of those around you, as it is.
The material lacks, the squalid economic situation, the 8hour shift are
violent and annihilating conditions which push to a reaction. However the
continuous invocations to the workers-proletarians and their elevation to
a revolutionary force is a theoretical analyses and a propagating
targeting which failed in the past and will fail in the future since it
limits the reasoning approach for the revolution in the narrow limits of
the economic need.
Every insurrectional attempt of the revolted based solely on the material
poverty of the masses can create an economic system with a fairer
distribution of production (for as long as it lasts), but it will not
destroy the hierarchy of people, the alienation, the tyranny of the
specialists and the smarter, since we would not have revolted for the
abolishment of impositions on our lives.

                    “A battle has been won but the war does not end here…”

After 23 days of hunger strike, we come out as winners against the corruption, defeatism and captivity that dominate in the world of prisoners.

We wrote: “We made a decision… we fight till the end…” We stood consistent to this choice of ours even when we saw our brothers Gerasimos and Panagiotis leave and be hospitalized in a bad condition at Tzanio hospital. Because from all that is written, we love what is written with blood and sealed with actions.All the rest is hollow babbles and a waste of time.

These 23 days we did not regret the hunger strike even for a moment. We knew the risk. We know everyone dies… but there are deaths that weigh differently, because we ourselves decide the way we will die, just as we choose the way we live. And we decided to come out of this battle as winners.

Gerasimos and Panagiotis won their final transfer from Domokos prisons. Gerasimos got transferred to Koridallos prisons and Panagiotis because he is considered a long term convict (he is sentenced to 37 years) and could not come to a prison such as Koridallos (a prison mainly for people who are waiting to be judged), won a transfer to a prison of his “choice” and will be transferred to Trikala prisons where three other members of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire are also being held.

This victory puts in its own way another pledge in our aim for political coexistence of the members of the CCF within the walls and abolishes the isolation they try to impose on us.In this confrontation opposite the system, time and fatigue, we put our bodies as a barricade and as a pawn of our decency. That’s why we did not plead, neither did we beg for solidarity in the places we avoided to hang out during our course as anarchists of praxis.

We stayed clear of leftist parties, from press conferences with a humane background, from reformist circles. Choosing thus a conscious loneliness we counted friends and enemies, comrades and indifferent, actions and silences… We do not have spare words for the small time politicians and the meaningless.

On the contrary the word “thankyou” is very poor for the comrades from the whole of greece who ran, gave out flyers, put up posters, set up PA systems, organized gatherings, occupied a tv station, they came with a demo by the prisons, carried out counter-information actions from radio stations…

Finally we send our warmest hug to all those vandals, the hooded ones, the provocateurs, the night time arsonists and bombers in Greece, the anarchist nihilists in Spain, our brothers in Bolivia, England and to all the cells of the Informal Anarchist Federation and of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire…

The choice of claiming responsibility and not capitulation
We as Conspiracy of Cells of Fire-imprisoned members, chose and claimed responsibility from inside the prison for our participation in our project. The responsibility claim is the least way to defend and honour the most beautiful acts that we share. Not as a memory that fades away after our arrests but as a living reality and prospect of carrying on our actions in the continuous present, the here and now.
We believe that the responsibility claim and the words we express through this contribute decisively to the intensification of anarchist action. It is an open offence towards the apologetic low-key stance that the prosecutors and interrogaters wanted to extract from us. This attitude reveals the existence of two different worlds. A world of power on one side and on the other the world of anarchy, which are in perpetual war with each other. The responsibility claim in no way constitutes a self-referential choice, but is a conscious extension of the way someone lives as an anarchist urban guerilla.
It is also a signal, a connection with the comrades from outside. An answer to the question that has never been asked. That some choices of battle are worth fighting for despite their cost. It’s a way to publicly defend the action, the path and our experience directly and openly. It is an individual existential mutiny in captivity which inevitably meets with the collective process of the attempted destruction of modern civilization. We do not believe that the responsibility claim is a sacrifice in the name of an idea; on the contrary, it is the idea that is sacrificed off the field of inoffensive symbolisms to its transformation into praxis.


From the beginning of our actins we have left the syndrome of fear of arrest and prison out of our baggage. We know that captivity is often a temporary station in the path of an anarchist urban guerrilla. So we left all legal inhibitions and hesitations behind us, remaining unrepentant in our choice. The choice of guerrilla action and the spreading of anarchy. On the contrary surrender and defeat does not dwell in us even for a moment. We never bowed and will never bow our heads to interrogators and judges. So this is why by refusing so much to appear either in the interrogating agencies as well as the courtrooms, whether with our refusal to appear or with our absolutely offensive presence, we abolish the language of laws, of compromise and capitulation. Besides, it is contradictory to say the least to respect laws after one has passionately declared absolute war against power and its culture of law.

Even when the enemy has no evidence against us, as in the case of the 250 C.C.F. Attacks, not a word of apology, nor any evidence of innocence or alibis will be obtained from us.
It is a fact that all the investigating authorities have in their hands is the responsibility claim that we made of our participation in the conspiracy. Besides, the practice and strategy of every conspiratorial group of anarchist direct action is to not leave behind ‘incriminating’ evidence, only traces and fire that carve an indelible scar on the face of the world of exploitation, hypocrisy and isolation

II) Let’s attack the managers and superiors of this civilisation.



This is what power wants to hit. The decision of some people to not kneel before the world of idols. In the world of dead objects, TV screens, advertising messages, police batons, prisons. In order to hit this choice, fear must win. Fear of arrest, prison, death. Judges, prosecutors and interrogators are working day and night for this dictatorship of fear. At the same time all of them want to represent the anarchist urban guerilla and the fighting groups and promote them as caricatures of misery and power sickness. Thus, they assign certain indictments to comrades as instigators or with managerial positions. But an anarchist group is not contaminated by the poison of power. There are neither leaders nor followers. There are only free autonomous individuals who put their hostility to this rotten system into practice. Pure strong action like the fire that burns inside us. If prosecutors and interrogators have learned to follow the orders of their political superiors, they must know that an untamable spirit does not take orders from anyone and does not give his conscience a boss. If they are looking for managers, ‘instigators’ or agents, let them look in the mirror. An anarchist collective has no centralized hierarchical structure. It acts through horizontal assemblies with mutiny as its compass. Specifically, the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire is a network of autonomous cells which works feverishly for the destruction of the authoritarian world. This is our wager and we will never give up.

III) The fire continues to burn inside us – the wager of FAI / IRF

A wager that we never abandoned, also inside the prisons where we are right now. We remain alive without bowing to discipline in our punitive transfers in which they take their revenge in the special conditions that they try to impose on us. We keep the passion for freedom inextinguishable and relive even for a moment in the beauty of a small guerrilla action such as the moments that we experienced in our recent escape attempt. The war we have declared on power knows no truce. This frightens the enemy, who tries to silence us in every way. That there are repeated prosecutions brought against us even for a text written in prison is not accidental. The fact that the State is even afraid of our words, gives us new strength, new smiles. Because it means that our words are escaping from the cells of captivity and meeting new comrades seeking to plan their own battles against power.

At the same time our mutiny is associated with the FAI international conspiracy (Informal Anarchist Federation) promoting the prospect of an international revolutionary front. Messengers of chaos send from everywhere their messages of insubordination through fire, explosions and vandalism, eliminating the takeover of power in Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, England, Spain, Italy, Indonesia, in Russia and anywhere the projects of FAI / IRF are spreading. The F.A.I. is an invitation to think, talk, express our desires, exist as free and autonomous individuals, not as shadows of a sad imitation of ourselves hostage to the conventions and constraints of power. Conspiring against the State means I breathe freely. Every day in our insubordination, in prison, in anarchist illegality, in our subversive plans, in our stormy discussions, our noisy actions, in our explosive feelings we conquer more breaths of freedom. The support and promotion of the projects of the FAI / IRF is the unrepentant choice to continue to live passionately and subversively cutting once and for all the bridges of a return to the normality of a quiet peaceful and law-abiding life.
In this frantic course, there can be no illusions. It is expected that the opponent makes up their own plans as well. It paves the way for its counter-attack at the communication and militaristic level. The retaliation of the repression is organizing to consolidate fear inside subversive circles.

IV. The coordinated and orchestrated anti-anarchist campaign, which was launched in September 2009 with the first arrests against the CCF, is not yet a closed case.

In the last two and a half intervening years a lot has happened. For every blow that the Conspiracy was making, the Anti-Terrorist Unit was inventing a new arrest. How many people were detained and photographed for headlines and news bulletins, until it was finally proven that they had nothing to do with our case… Who can forget the arrest of fans of AEK’s football team who carried petards, which was featured as the arrest of members of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire? The State has declared a regime of emergency against the circles of subversive anarchy. But the regime of an ‘emergency status’ marks the death of reason. A typical example of this is the recent media manipulation, on the State’s part, of a time-delay incendiary device’s placement in an empty subway car. Apart from how this action was distorted, in order to construct new phobic syndromes in regards to the new urban guerrilla warfare, two wanted anarchist revolutionaries, G.M. and D.P., were singled out and then named as this hit’s perpetrators. The paradox in this case is that the anti-terrorist wizards themselves declare they have no evidence whatsoever (DNA, surveillance cameras, fingerprints, eyewitness testimonies) against the two comrades, nevertheless are sure of their involvement. This is the trans-evolution of the ‘scientific’ inquiries by the Anti-Terrorist Unit. The certainty of cops alone will suffice for some people’s ‘culpability’. So, now the players are known and the deck is marked. It is no coincidence that a few days later a new circle of investigations began regarding the 250 attacks of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, for which also the wanted comrades G.M. and D.P. have been summoned. At the same time, the renowned inquisitors Mokkas and Baltas call along with us also all those who have been accused for the Conspiracy’s case, although they bear no relation to the organization.
This is the culmination of the State’s machinated anti-anarchist operation, which arrested persons on grounds unrelated to the Conspiracy, and still presents them as members of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, in order to prolong their hostage situation.

In short, the Conspiracy serves the interrogators as the sinker for new prosecutions, which submerges irrelevant cases and rebaptizes them as ‘participation in a terrorist organization’.
This tactic bears similarities that are strongly reminiscent of the case of the Italian phantom organization O.R.A.I., which was invented by the renowned prosecutor Marini; an organization which, in this specific case, even though it did not exist, became the alibi of the prosecuting authorities for a series of prosecutions and imprisonments against insurrectionary comrades.

At our end, we do not intend to concede even the slightest suspicion of retreat and ceasefire to the interrogators. We remain unrepentant, increasing the density of the collision.

‘We’re not retreating, we stand firm; we’re not trying, we can; we’re not begging, we rob; we’re not extinguishing, we burn; we’re not anticipating, we look forward. The Conspiracy will never be arrested because it’s not simply an organization, but rather a stream of ideas, and ideas are always elusive. The day isn’t yet marked on the calendar. All months, all weeks, all days are always available. A day will be marked with a smile, the smile of meeting again for the continuation of OUR adventure…’

As your military court will now keep on listening to the witnesses declarations referring to three attacks of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire, we want to clarify a few things.

Quite often, both the judge and the public prosecutor ask questions on the power of the explosive devices. They ask whether these devices were powerful or not, and if they posed a risk to human life.

Our position as Conspiracy is quite concrete.

We pay no respect to human life, that’s all. Human life in itself does not consitute any ideal or supreme value. Life creates the chance to make choices. The choices we made are those that give value to our life and define it. Obviously, the choices made by a dignitary of Power, a judge or a jailer not only have no value for us but they are also enemies of our perception and dignity. These are people whose very existence is an offence to our aesthetic sense and our desire for a free and anarchist life.

It is therefore unquestionable the fact that we are at war with these people. As it is generally known, there are dead in war. For this reason we repeatedly and passionately support the guerrilla practice of political executions in our communiques and texts.

A free perosn is not the one who gets freedom from the illusions of democracy, but the one who takes arms in hand and struggles to conquer it.

On the other hand, as we have already said, the attacks carried out by the new urban anarchist guerrilla are always very concrete and have precise targets.

They aim at the heart of the enemy, right where Power triumphs and its representative live. They aim at banks, ministries, courts, police stations.

For this reason, each and every attack of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire has been carried out in a such a way as to avoid even the slightest injury to passerbys. We usually achieved that with telephone calls to the media, so that police evacuated the area.

This also occurred as concerns the cases of Hinofotis’ flat, the Ministry of Macedonia and Tracia and Katseli’s house, for which attacks we are now on trial in the military court of Koridallos.

Now, concerning the power of our explosive devices, what we have to say is that the potential of a guerrilla action cannot be measured according to the weight of the explosive materials that are used or to the bullets that remain on the ground after an armed attack.

In the years of its activity the Conspiracy have been striking with improvised incendiary devices or weapons and powerful explosives. The choice of the means depends on the strategy of spreading the new urban guerrilla, anarchy and nihilism.

Depending on the attack we wanted to carry out, we chose the most appropiate means from our arsenals. Matches, petrol, black powder, TNT and bullets.

Therefore, we consider any question on the power of the explosive devices we used as meaningless, and we won’t answer. We won’t negotiate the sentences they ordered you to impose on us, nor will we beg the mitigating circumstances of your laws.

If you want an answer we’re going to give it to you in advance and once and for all. Regardless of the power of the explosive devices we used, it is the intention of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire to completely destroy the bases of your rotten system with dynamite.

Only then will the history of slaves and masters be broken up.

And in order for this to happen, bullets and explosives alone are not sufficient, what really counts is that everyone takes their life in their hands, believes in themselves and finds the strength to aim a weapon at the assassins of their existence.

Athens: Imprisoned and pretrial detainees anarchists are summoned concerning the 250 actions of the R.O. Conspiracy of Cells of Fire

Wednesday, March 14th, at 19.00, Athens Polytechnic School: third assembly for further discussion on the new political prosecutions concerning older actions against comrades who have been convicted or are accused for the CCF case.

At a time when the people are groaning under the unbearable economic poverty and misery that have been imposed by the local agents of the big bosses of the global capitalist system, and have not yet recovered from the shock caused by multiple blows, at this moment of turmoil like a sneaky wolf the State — aided by its most powerful crutches, the cops and the judges — seizes motive and opportunity to close definitely and irrevocably its accounts with a long-standing enemy: the anarchist combatants who have the courage to fight back in every possible dynamic way, and to defy the — overtly nowadays — fascist dominance of the system.
Thus, taking advantage of the general panic that pervades most people, the authorities are prepared to bury anarchist fighters under tons of cement, super-long prison sentences, prosecutions and generalized repression.
Obeying this frenzy that exceeds hysteria, the state authorities:
- handed out a total of 137 years of imprisonment to those accused for the CCF case,
- they are stalling for many months now, with provocative and unacceptable pretenses, the sessions regarding the obviously justified motion of Panagiotis Masouras and Konstantina Karakatsani for suspended execution of their sentences,
- they arrest demonstrators, pillorying them by releasing their photos and details, and they send them straight to prison, in order to stifle protests,
- they systematically reject, with Mussolinian arrogance and criminal indifference, the repeated applications for release of Stella Antoniou on very serious health grounds,
- and the past few days (using the ‘unbeatable duo’ of the obscurest persecution, the interrogators Baltas and Mokkas) they are preparing to attribute to all combatants, who were captured since November 2010 to date, tons of additional charges related with the total of 250 attacks of CCF, regardless if comrades are members of the specific organization or deny their participation in it.
So, from Monday, March 12th, 2012, all fighters who are imprisoned or pretrial detainees accused for the CCF case are called to appear in the Court of Appeals in Athens, after having been summoned.
In particular, 16 comrades (along with 2 fugitives) accused of involvement in the R.O. Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, either having claimed responsibility for their participation in CCF or having denied any relation with the organization, have been summoned to appear before the interrogators’ duo Baltas and Mokkas as defendants for about 250 actions for which the CCF has claimed political responsibility with communiqués since 2008.

Greece: Responsibility claim for arson on the district court of Kallithea, Athens

We are experiencing the peculiar economic and political conjuncture when capitalism oscillates unpredictably and the political system is under widespread contest. This contest, though, does not come to propose an alternative solution on a political level, but can be found in the form of general discontent. But the general discontent that pervades the broader social realm is nothing more than a most energetic aspect of inertia. Nevertheless, we view the bases of struggle in neighbourhoods in a positive light, which along with the anarchist space stand as the only counterweight to capitalism that, even though finds itself in recession, continues its onslaught, while the majority of resigned working population leaves social ground to subside.
Due to the given situation, democracy through justice comes to reinstate a multitude of provisions at the forefront, such as the prohibition of demonstrations in the so-called historic centre [of Athens], the granting of the right of ex officio use of weapons by the cops and citizens, promoting the Americanization of the sense of ownership (through the incitement ‘citizens, take up arms’). We also speculate that a further amendment and upgrading of the terror law is imminent, aiming at the establishment of a climate of even greater repression and fear. The question we want to pose to everyone is which actions do the anarchist and the wider libertarian milieu take at a time when the nationalists have already begun to form patriotic militias and train themselves in the mountains out of a fear of chaos and anarchy?

ATTACK EVERYWHERE AND ALWAYS

On the occasion of the new prosecutions for the case of the R.O. Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, on Wednesday dawn, March 14th, we torched the district court in the area of Kallithea with incendiary devices. The regime with an unanticipated motion is seeking to renew the pretrial incarcerations through the new round of subpoenas, but also to burden even more the already heavy indictments. We are confident that our comrades are standing intact against the legalistic tricks of the State and the broader stance of the modern Inquisitors.
At this point, we’d like to express our unreserved support with Stella Antoniou who, apart from having a burdened health condition which makes her release from prison imperative, is an ANARCHIST and should be treated as such by her comrades.
We don’t forget the imprisoned comrade Giannis Skouloudis who will stand trial by the State on March 21st, 2012, for the arson on vehicles of the public electric power corporation (DEI) and has claimed responsibility for the action; we neither forget the incarcerated comrades Dimitris Dimtsiadis, Babis Tsilianidis, [Dimitris Fessas] and Sokratis Tzifkas, who had chosen the difficult path of clandestinity, were arrested and are now prosecuted for the same case.

Honour for ever to the member of the R.O. Revolutionary Struggle Lambros Foundas, who fell dead on March 10th, 2010, by cops’ bullets.

PS. We report the deliberate concealment of our action by the mass media, a silencing which demonstrates that their role and their position are next to their state superiors and against us. Let us clarify that any informant journalist–assignee of the cops may be faced with our practical discontent, as their cars and houses are as accessible and combustible as those of other scum.
