spring attacks from Informal Anarchist Federation (Italy, Greece, Switzerland)

Posted on April 2, 2011 by actforfreedomnow

Attacks by the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI) across three countries in Europe. The targets are directed at military, nuclear-industrial and prison targets within the frame of international revolutionary solidarity. The European authorities are trying to withhold details of the claims accompanying the explosive devices for purpose of denying the ‘value of propaganda’.
30 March 2011 – Olten, Switzerland: A package bomb exploded in the offices of Swissnuclear (the Federation of the Swiss nuclear industry) giving two office workers superficial burns. The attack is claimed by the FAI who outline a vision of their ideas and vindicate the action in solidarity with Silvia, Costas and Luca who are imprisoned accused of planning to attack a center of IBM nanotechnology in Rüschlikon, Zürich.
31 March 2011 – Livorno, Italy: A package bomb has been delivered to the Ruspoli barracks, a center of the Parachutist Brigade Commando which serves in Afghanistan. A soldier remains hurt and crippled. Lieutenant colonel, chief of general staff of the Brigade, highest in degree at the moment in the barracks. The explosion has amputated three fingers of the hand and injuries to the face and the legs. The target was carried away in a state of shock to the first aid. The soldiers at the moment do not supply details. Police investigation is underway. A claim of responsibility accompanied the explosion by the Informal Anarchist Federation.
31 March 2011 – Korydallos, Greece: The Director of Korydallos Prison receives a package bomb but it is detected and defused by technicians of the Greek police. From the Greek corporate press it is learned that inside of the destined package bomb to the director there was a claim of responsibility in the name of the Informal Anarchist Federation. The text has not been published, but Greek journalists report that a draft of two pages in Italian in which is mentioned solidarity to the captive companions of the revolutionary organization Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, and beyond to other prisoners locked up in the prisons of Switzerland, Germany and Chile.

Bombing near Santiago television studio claimed (CHILI)

26032011
From Culmine (March 15, 2011) via Liberación Total (March 15, 2011)
Through this e-mail, we claim responsibility for the explosion that took place on Friday, March 11 at a location next to the Television studios on San Cristóbal hill. Said action was painstakingly and prophetically covered on Sunday, March 13 by El Mercurio, as is their custom, as an explosion related to the judicial decision extending Pablo Morales’ preventive detention period. Nothing could be further from the truth. The reason for Friday night’s bomb detonation was to send a message to one of the pillars of the system of domination: the official press, specifically television. We haven’t forgotten how those representatives of power insulted us. Especially cruel was TVN’s Special Report, which showed comrade Mauricio Morales’ lifeless body and has become the mouthpiece for Prosecutor Peña and his mob. In case they haven’t already realized it, that’s the reason why the press was attacked during the last September 11 march, with special attention given to TVN’s mobile reporting unit. To us, the situation is not settled, and we will no doubt have many more encounters with those reporter-cops. Additionally, March 11 marked the first year of the Piñera government, which represents a strengthened alliance of Capitalist and State interests, the likes of which Chilean history hasn’t seen before. Clearly, the haute bourgeoisie no longer needs the military or the hack politicians of the concertación.
The intent of our action was to neither help nor hinder the situation of anticapitalist prisoners. We think that would be impossible. Nevertheless, while we recognize those prisoners as part of a wide anticapitalist spectrum that certainly isn’t limited by the number of houses it squats, our knowledge of or relationship to them has nothing to do with the science fiction movie that BIPE (Police Special Investigations Squad) and DIPOLCAR (Carabineros Police Intelligence Department) sold to Peña and his prosecutors, who are hungry for success, fame, and TV cameras. However, we are well aware that, no matter what, they’ll try to smear the prisoners and link them to any actions that take place. If there are no actions or bombings, they’ll say the prisoners are guilty and that’s why the bombings stopped. If there are actions and explosions, they’ll say it’s only to show that the prisoners are innocent. In the end, the new subversion and the new diffuse autonomous guerrilla war can’t be guided by what power thinks.
An entirely different matter is the recent attack carried out on a private house, which was followed by a communiqué containing a threat to attack a school. We completely reject that action. We won’t interpret it, we don’t understand it, and we don’t know what goal it hoped to achieve other than tainting anticapitalist struggle and rebellious ideas. We think it was either the work of police, parapolice squads engaging in false flag operations, or people with terrorist tendencies who made a serious mistake. Our actions, about which we won’t go into detail now so as to not make the work of the police or the prosecutor’s mob easier, have always had clear objectives and been carefully designed—based on the time, the location, and the physical characteristics of the chosen targets—to avoid injury to innocent people. We also attempt to limit the damage we cause to the targets we attack, and not to nearby homes. To us, actions are a means of propaganda, agitation, and sabotage. Sometimes they are a means of direct attack, but only when they respond to the murderous police who have killed our brothers and sisters here in the cities or on Mapuche territory, spinelessly shooting them in the back. We have no reason to beg forgiveness for wounded police or the damages to their buildings, because we are proud of ourselves and know that those wounds and damages are nothing compared to the valued lives of our brothers and sisters, which those bloodthirsty vermin brought to an end for a paltry salary from the owners of the country. The moral standards of subversives and revolutionaries can’t be compared with those of the police, and we therefore repeat that we have nothing to do with indiscriminate attacks on the civilian population. On the off chance that the people who attacked that private house chose it at random and come from the anticapitalist milieu, we think they should profoundly rethink their political orientation and their actions, which only benefit the enemy.
On a television program yesterday, Interior Minister Rodrigo Hinzpeter theatrically asked how it was possible that we could coexist for so long with the injustice of people being in prison for not paying a fine. His words would have made us smile had they not been tinged with the shadow of death, coming from a person who supports the genocide of Arabs by Israel, which is where he learned many of his black arts. Prison is part of this system of death, exploitation, and oppression in which a privileged minority enjoy power and wealth while the rest of the population barely survives in a country with one of the world’s worst distributions of income, in a country where the police kill Mapuche, students, and subversive militants with with total impunity and the blessing ofconcertación politicians or the right, in this bloodstained police democracy. That’s the real tragedy. That’s the real injustice. Not so much that a person who doesn’t pay a fine goes to prison, which is certainly tragic and unjust, but that suit-and-tie terrorists make deals to raise the prices of medicine for pregnant women, children, and the elderly, who will never set foot in prison. Or that we will never see the murderers of Mapuche handcuffed, with media vultures asking them why they did it. No, that type of treatment is reserved for the poor. After all, it’s for the poor that prisons are built. Never will we see landowners pay for the immense damage their forests cause to communities: drying out the soil, preventing the spread of culture, hindering agriculture due to a lack of irrigation, paying the police to shoot children. That’s the real terrorism in this country, which moves its chess pieces to win approval for power stations that pollute nature and poison people, while earnest politicians are delighted to welcome the U.S. ambassador from the comfort of their very progressive presidential easy-chairs. Who are the terrorists? Are they not the same ones who applauded or looked the other way while people were being thrown into the sea, the same ones who are now party members in Mr. Hinzpeter’s coalition government?
To conclude, we offer some information to demonstrate the authenticity of our action and to show anticapitalists that we can all form action groups, that it’s in our hands, that we have never needed leaders or any ridiculous foreign financing. We carried out Friday’s action at night, and we were armed in case things got dicey. We left a bomb consisting of almost two kilos of black powder mixed with powdered aluminum inside an empty fire extinguisher. The charge had a detonation system comprising two cell phones (in case one failed), which provided the necessary energy through a connection to their respective vibrators. The bomb was set to detonate at 9:45 p.m. in an area where no one could have been hurt. It was a symbolic and propagandistic action to mark the first year of the Piñera government. We also claim responsibility for the bomb left in Vitacura near the Las Tranqueras Police Station in January, which sadly failed to explode due to a problem with its detonation system.
Finally, we call on everyone to fight more fiercely and take the streets on March 29,Young Combatant’s Day, to remember our dead and show with fire in the streets that we do not fear Piñera or Hinzpeter’s fascism. We end with a few words that get louder and louder each time rebels shout them in the streets and the prisons:
Wake up, it’s time to fight!
While there is misery, there will be rebellion!
For the spread and multiplication of autonomous anticapitalist cells in $hile and the rest of the world!
To the streets on March 29!
—INTERNATIONAL REVOLUTIONARY FRONT: ARACELY ROMO INSURRECTIONAL COMMANDO
PS regarding recent events in Japan: In just a few days, a representative of the largest terrorist State in the world—the same one that dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, causing over 200,000 deaths—will be welcomed with the red carpet and much deference by the degenerate leaders of Chile. What a treasure!

“In the chaos of our own existence we are a part of the imponderable element which organizes subversion, plans mutinies, that leave even ourselves dazed. The translation of texts, letters, communiqués, etc. so that comrades in other countries around the world can read about the desires and ideas and projectuality of the comrades in Greece, is one more weapon at our disposal. What began as a simple desire and a challenge, has brought us into a new field of experiences, acquaintances and responsibilities. Now that we’re here, they will not get rid of us easily.
We have become another aspect of the asymmetric threat. The war to the end, has already begun. …”

This is why, as individuals with our actions and solidarity, we will continue with all means possible as anarchist revolutionary insurrectionalists, to express our thoughts and desires, whether it’s through the letters-texts of our fighting comrades who are hostages in the hell-holes of Greek democracy or through the actions of the comrades outside in the streets day and night with all means untilsocial liberation for Anarchy.

Actforfreedomnow - Boubouras

March 2011
From the introduction by Actforfreedomnow – Bourbouras.

A huge storm of revolt raged through the streets of Greece in December 2008. After the 15 year-old Alexis Grigoropoulos was murdered in coldblood by a cop, riots spread throughout the whole country for several weeks. Hundreds of corporate and government targets were attacked, plundered and set on fire. Although it was anarchists and anti-authoritarians who took the lead in this storm during the first week after the murder, it spread itself fast and many people got involved in this revolt against miserable living conditions, against the authorities and against the hopelessness offered by this world to the exploited and oppressed. But the revolt didn’t cease at the end of 2008, neither did it start on the day of the murder. The attacks against the structures of State and Capital went on and spread to several smaller towns in Greece.

About 180 fire attacks and, since a couple of months, artisan [‘homemade’] bombing attacks were carried out under the name of ‘Conspiracy of Cells of Fire’. The attacks targeted banks, car dealers, shopping centres, governmental institutions, police stations, offices of political parties, houses of politicians, judges, criminologists, journalists, private security firms and companies building prisons,… and always accompanied by elegantly critical and nihilistic claims of anarchist responsibility.

The claims did not only criticize Capital, State and Authority (in all of their aspects), but also the resignation of the exploited, their herd mentality, their collaboration with the system. The Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (CCF) refuse to regard oppression and exploitation as simply being imposed by batons and blackmail, but understand it as a social relation in which all have their responsibility –and make or don’t make the choice to fight against it.

In September 2009 extensive anti-terror raids attempted to strike the CCF, these raids became one more political tool to attack the wider anarchist & anti-authoritarian movement, a situation which intensified when two members of the CCF were captured during an operation in November 2010, Athens. Against the ongoing legalistic kidnapping of our comrades and for the escalation of struggle for total liberation, the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire : Illegal Sector called for an informal global project based on anarchist subversion, direct action and international solidarity. These papers document some of the many communiques, letters and legal & court updates concerning the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, the accused comrades of the same case, plus solidarity actions resulting from the call for a formation of an Informal Anarchist Federation / International Revolutionary Front.

Whilst this publication can of course only offer a partial view upon the situation and topics, it is produced in the spirit of rebellion which fuels the total war against domination. It is an unfinished document that seeks collaboration through acts of refusal. The international call which has been circulated for the subversive formation of an International Revolutionary Front / Informal Anarchist Federation (Global), which is based on the principles of international solidarity, permanent subversion and constant conflict should be discussed, debated and acted upon without delay.

Mad arson attacks for Conspiracy of Cells of Fire

Athens, Greece

The communique spontaneously combusted shortly after appearing:

“Saturday night 15/1 and Sunday 16/1 we torched:
- bank of Proton Bank in Vironas area
- Local organization of PASOK (ruling party) in Moshato,
- Two vehicles of a security company in Gizi,
- Personal motorbike of a cop who lives in Exarchia (Asimaki Fotila street).

We dedicate these actions to our imprisoned comrades accused in the case of the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” and tried as of today in the political court marshal in Koridallos prison. Three of those have taken the political responsibility for the organization, while the others deny their participation, but keep intact their rebelliousness and dignity. We pledge that we will not leave any imprisoned revolutionary alone. These violent acts of resistance are not only fair, but also the duty of every person who puts themselves against a world where exploitation and injustice reign and money is in charge. The individual agreements and disagreements are to be discussed; what is non-negotiable is: solidarity between individuals and groups who are fighting for freedom in every way and with any means. Also, towards the new treaty that criminalizes social, political and personal relationships (like in the case of the notorious “safehouse” of Halandri, but recently the case of the four comrades wanted for arson in Thessaloniki), we respond with even more rage and anger, more litres of petrol and butane bottles. Of course, we do not forget the famously disgusting minions of the system, the journalists, who for a salary and a career, mock and step on the freedom and the dignity of our comrades, repeating the lies of the police and presenting various scenarios of their imagination; to try, condemn and destroy lives and reputations, before “civil justice” does it officially. They should know that on this side of the war, memory and honour is in excess, and sooner or later they will pay for the dirty role they have chosen in life.

Finally, we want to say that we chose to act on this theoretically “tough” weekend before the beginning of the trial, when the police have unleashed their obvious and also hidden running dogs, in fear of a new armed attack, to break in this way the terror and fear that the State attempts to impose on society and on people who are fighting. As long as the State is unable to mend the holes of a system that’s collapsing, the noose will tighten and the measures will intensify. We must stand strong and act with all our power, until the Revolution and Liberation, social and individual.

Freedom to H.Hadjimihelakis, P. Argirou, G.Tsakalos who have taken the political responsibility for the “Conspiracy Cells of Fire” and P.Massouras, K.Karakatsani, A.Mitrousias, G.Karagiannidis who are imprisoned for the same case.

Solidarity to all imprisoned anarchists and revolutionaries.
Struggle by any means – Revolution First and Always.

London UK - Solidarity attack on Barclays Bank, Dulwich FROM www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2011/01/472295.html17 January 2011 - Solidarity attack. Barclays Bank, Dulwich, London got a visit early this morning just after midnight - a gift - can of petrol - left at the entrance - in flames - a small attack on the banking system -
in solidarity to the Greek comrades in court today 17 January for the start of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire trial.

midnight express

İstanbul, Turkey (16.01.2011) - In the night of 16th of January 2011 at 7 p.m. against the biggest one of the shopping centers in Istanbul, Cevahir AVM, there was an attack with fireworks.

The 4 of the exploded 7 fireworks hit the entrance and the windows of shopping center. While fireworks begin to explode, there had been no injury except a little bit panic.

While the banks, shopping centers, fasfoods and other part of the consuming culture reduce imagination and free time to shit and debt, while our planet began to unliveable because of the consumption and commodification, we see a little art-sabotage not inappropriate.

The actions that we took like this is for solidarity with our comrades who are now in hostages in Greece dungeons and with Conspiracy Cells of Fire.

Insurrectionary greetings
