From house arrest in Santiago, Chile – Mónika Caballero in solidarity with the comrades of the CCF and with Billy, Silvia and Costa

from:   culmine translate by SYSIPHUS/actforfreedomnow!28/07/2011

In anticipation of the start of the political-judicial-thriller media spectacle known as “caso bombas”, I am breaking the silence of house arrest to send a fraternal greeting to the comrades theo.r.c.c.f. who yesterday saw the conclusion of their first trial. The exemplary vindictive measures of the powerful have shown themselves in the territory denominated the Greek State.

It may seem a poor strategy on the part of one risking a sentence of 20 years’ prison (accused of participation in a non-existent illicit terrorist association and the placing of explosives) to show solidarity with people who declare themselves guilty, but I am not interested in entering the rationale of the oppressors and observing implacably as they imprison the warriors that collide with this society and who, attacking, passed to action with conviction. Solidarity to those who have passed to the offensive has always been criticized by the pseudo-revolutionaries who see anti-authoritarian practices as youth fashion, and when the war carries high costs they take a distance and become mere spectators of a battle which they have neither the ovaries or the balls to continue, nor is it to make a group sacrifice or deliver oneself easily to the enemy.
But what would happen if you did not make acts of solidarity toward those who have been struck by capital? Is it less dangerous to support those that are legally innocent? I am an anarchist and I am not interested in the laws of society. Solidarity is not just a high-sounding word of communiques, it is material and concrete practice.
Wherever they are, an imprisoned anti-authoritarian cannot feel alone. Tomorrow could already be late…
For you prisoners of the “Halandri case”:
I read your communiques and declarations, I have made many of your words my own and cherish them like a beautiful treasure, without ever having had the opportunity to exchange a word with you I call you comrades and I feel your heavy sentences in my bones.
The hegemony of power uses (will use) the same strategies, the trial that is being carried out in this part of the world is a bad copy of other trials, your trial will be a model to be followed for many governments, it will be “the great antiterrorist victory”. But all this happens where there is the most beautiful disobedience. Ideas cannot be defeated, indeed they reinforce themselves in others that hold them carved in their chest. I imagine the pleasure on the faces of the guards at seeing the bodies of such worthy people behind bars, anger and disgust inebriate me at a mere attempt to be in their place. Prison, death and escape are in the DNA of the unyielding, they are the cost for having bitten the chains.
Walls and borders separate us, ideas unite us.
A tiny gesture… I hope it will give you a smile in these hard times.
I would like to take this opportunity to send a hug of solidarity to Silvia, Costa and Billy
I give you a poem by Sandra Trafilaf, political prisoner of Pinochet’s military dictatorship, written around 1984.
“Fences and metal doors
surround this underworld
trying imprison our joy of living
and loving
the letters of my comrades
are fluttering
in this improvised writing desk
cries and voices from afar
mingle with their words
confused, dark memories
of murderous volleys
and all the same I
fill up again with struggles
and victories.
I am not alone.”
Mónika Caballero
An anarchist awaiting trial
Ps: I would like to thank each individual and/or collective that spreads each release and makes possible interaction between comrades.

Letter of anarchist political prisoner Theofilos Mavropoulos who is imprisoned in Koridallos prisons

Theofilos Mavropoulos was arrested two months ago after being wounded during an armed confrontation with two police officers (who also got their share) in northern Athens. He spent several weeks at Red Cross Hospital before being transferred to a prison hospital and then to A Wing at Korydallos Prison. Below is his first full-length open letter.
Letter of anarchist political prisoner Theofilos Mavropoulos who is imprisoned in Koridallos prisons
“A revolutionary is like a kamikaze, who simply does not accept the fate that the machine gave to them. It is simple to ask for a life that is worth living. Those who totally deny this society have already faced the risk of death. The struggle against the existing way of things is an armed goodbye.-

War or suicide”
Collaboration of individuals for the realization of the negative
(abroad)
from the pamphlet

On 18/5/2011 in the area of Pefki, me and my comrade had an accidental meeting with cops. They wanted us to stop, we tried to leave but we failed (a cop dashed at my comrade while my comrade tried to escape) and thus, wanting to get us out of this situation I made the choice, the political choice of armed conflict. Wanting to slip away from the armed praetors of democracy and since we could not surrender without a fight, deciding to risk in this way, gave the opportunity to my comrade, who was unarmed, to get away. My comrade made it away successfully using their own copcar, but I could not follow because of my injury.
The reason that me and my comrade did not stop at a police control is because we had made the conscience choice of revolutionary illegality. The last and obligatory choice of someone who denies the imposition of imprisonment on them from “Justice”.

The condition of illegality involves a life on the edge of the razor, where the choices get tougher since the risk goes sky high. Legality” is therefore of obvious use to a revolutionary entity.
Nevertheless for all those revolutionaries that come to the dilemma of surrendering or not, how easy or how difficult they will “sell their corpse” leaves its own deposit of disobedience. As in the case of the “robbers in black” who for many years have made the choice of illegal freedom instead of arrest and imprisonment, and more specifically Simos Seisidis who refusing to stop at a police check lost his leg from a cops bullets. Their examples and not only fill all our hearts with pride and strength.
From now on i define myself as one more anarchist revolutionary political prisoner in the hands of the state. A state that ahead of the likely hatched social disturbances tightens the bonds of its subjects abolishing indirectly or directly a lot of democratic pretexts (abolishment of anonymity of phones, required to carry id card, bounties on fighters heads, publication of photographs of fighters, imprisonment of some of them with non existent evidence, the hood law…).

Such moves however cannot intimidate the generalised war of conscience that is being carried out. A multiform war, in the here and now, constantly evolving, aiming at the inversion of the existing way of things. A revolutionary war. Without a beginning, middle or end, but with many fronts. From the open public assemblies to the dynamic and militant demonstrations and from armed guerrilla attacks to the little everyday influences that evolve us at an individual and collective level.

In order for the anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement to be effective against the methodized moves of the enemy, it should not be torn apart. Shams, individual vanities, personal disputes, envy but mainly the tolerance and consent to such kind of behaviours should give their place to the composition and continuous refreshing of the a/a movement. Especially the moment we observe attempts of organised internationalisation of subversive action, from Latin America all the way to Europe, this need is more important than ever.

Also the fact that the number of political prisoners has increased rapidly recently leads to various conclusions. Apart from the matter of our solidarity, which has substance when it is bidirectional and aggressive, we must contemplate the need for the subversive forces to always be a step ahead of the enemy.

In order to win a war, not only will and abilities are necessary but also strategy. When the opponent moves the pawns so must you.
The way each one will choose to fight is an individual choice and responsibility. Beginning therefore from the individual all it takes is to collectivize the common desire to fight against authority. Surely political balances play their part, whats important however is the effort to invert them for the better.

The spreading of a/a ideas has a leading role. The quantitative and qualitative strengthening is necessary. Moreover casualties are statistically certain in a war. The motive however for a potential revolutionary henceforth is not only the undesirable integration in the lower social layers. It is such the sovereign mesh of capitalistic relations and perceptions in the lives of everyone that you meet “underprivileged” in all social and economic classes. When human life becomes a product on the shelves of supermarkets and marketing, what use is it to speak of expensive and cheap products, when everything has its price. Without a doubt in the classes of the poor and exploited there are healthy revolutionaries, however ther are loyal subjects, many loyal subjects…

“Those of you who today watch your children playing carefree in the playground and in the school yards, do not be surprised if tomorrow you see them forming revolutionary alliances or participating in armed attacks against the state and the capital”.
With consistency and insistence therefore, as well as with inexhaustible fighting mood many things can be done. The degree of conciliation may differ. It either flourishes in the amphitheatres or extinguishes at the barrels of the guns but the aim is the same: REVOLUTION FIRST AND ALWAYS.

… My fingerprints were found in the apartments in Kallithea and Nea Ionias in Volos. I cannot take the historical and political responsibility for my participation in the revolutionary organisation Conspiracy Cells of Fire, since i never had a joint configuration in the political word of the organization, for which I maintain certain disagreements. Therefore I declare clearly that I was not a member of the r.o. C.C.F.
In no case however would these disagreements prevent the path we carved together. Together with the comrades of C.C.F. we evolved, we learned from one another and stronger henceforth acted in favour of the case of freedom and revolutionary prospect. For these reasons therefore I proudly declare myself PRESENT in the houses of Kallithea and Volos, present also in the lives of members of the r.o. C.C.F.
Recognizing their revolutionary action I stand in solidarity to all imprisoned members of the organisation and I send them my comrade greetings.
The pamphlet “the sun will continue rising” should become a prelude of a new more merciless, destructive and unrelenting circle of hostilities. Comrades, whatever the cost we remain with the necks unbent.

The new Conspiracy of Cells of Fire claim responsibility for arson of 12 telecommunications vehicles

Responsibility claim for the arson of 12 cars of the Greek telecommunications organization (OTE)
Athens

“How does the light begin from a star and pours into black eternity and walks immortal? The star dies, but its light never does, such is the cry for freedom.”
(N. Kazantzakis)

Now, now that the ground is fertile for the fruit of havoc to flourish. The intensification of revolutionary violence against the autocrat of our lives should be the first priority in the plans of the revolutionary forces. Its in our hands to attempt to take over the present conditions and waterproof the airtight valves which combined with laziness, the fear of repression and the arbitrary aphorism of violence repeats inactivity sinking in a swamp of mean interests. With as a spearhead revolutionary conscience, continuous war for the construction of our autonomous existential-value code and the destruction of sovereign social relations and the authority that invades every aspect of our everyday life.

The debt of the anarchist/revolutionary movement is enormous in the current condition since more and more people radicalize towards both ends. The anarchist/revolutionary movement should not in any case be limited to being socially agreeable and acceptable from all since it is now obvious that it will be met with indifference and resignation. The danger of this failure lies in the pollution of the movement from the parasite of inactivity which will also impoverish the movement in all its expressions.
We could say therefore that we are surrounded by invisible enemies but also possible comrades. The continuous development of the multiform revolutionary action should become the tool that will make the masks drop. When we are positioned behind the dividing lines there will be no more excuses, the ignition of social polarization as a fundamental objective inside the revolutionary strategies is necessary.
Let it be placed therefore as an objective the radicalization of the anarchist/revolutionary movement towards the strategy of urban guerrilla. An anarchist should be organized and act away from the eyes and ears of cops in the clear darkness of conspiracy. In order to clarify that this prompt is not out of arbitrarity and fetishism but taking into consideration the promotion of multiform revolutionary action and the strategies of struggle.
As fans therefore of the multiform revolutionary action we consider the field of the street and more specifically that of demonstrations a field on which we can work, evolve and spread our perception. Demonstrations initially constitute points of counter-information, distributions of texts, flyers, spraypainting of slogans and stencils, interrupt the orderly operation of the city and propagate the messages of war. At the same time demonstrations function as a field of spreading revolutionary violence. A violence that in first degree at least does not clash militarily with the mechanisms of repression neither transports the conflict to the utopian sphere of the “final battle”. The violence that is applied with stones and molotov from the minorities that factually dispute the authority create the experience of conflict in a new world, an experience which under conditions can be transubstantiated afterwards into revolutionary conscience. The violence that is practiced aims at becoming adopted by as many people as possible. Far from fetishisms such as ‘whoever smashes stuff is one of us’, the experience of conflict in the street as a first stage of awareness of the participant is important. Reversing the cliche ‘demonstrations are for the cops to win’ we believe that in the demonstrations what wins is the experience and vagabondage.
We stress therefore that we will not attack somewhere and sometimes when the skies rain conscience and the world floods of revolution. We will choose action now and we will force it to a continuous aggressive and simultaneously evolutionary move in time. We prefer a possible abomination of society from becoming a piece of the misery and postponement. As revolutionaries we owe via the step that is offered by well aimed revolutionary action to spread our revolutionary conscience and the practices that “accompany” it, to all those who have their eyes and ears open in order for them to see and hear, far from material epicurisms, psychological dead ends, tv-narcosis and submission.
Agreeing with the proposal of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire of the 1st period we decided to factually promote and support its continuation. More dangerous, unpredictable and chaotic than ever. Guerrilla methodologies, infrastructures and battle tactics are already in the “laboratory” of revolutionary development.
And now a clear personal message to the bastards that are on the list of the “immediately interested”: You will not get rid of the Conspiracy this easy you motherfuckers, not today, and not as long as there are decisive revolutionaries ready to crush your bones.
With great joy we greet the network of soldiers from the Revolutionary Groups for the Spreading of Terror who decided to include their precious services in the organization with the vandalism of a bank and the arson of municipal-cop cars and the mayors car. We respond warmly and we reply, lets go again this time STRONGER.

The 2nd generation of the Conspiracy is here and we are present. Napoleon said that the worse thing that a nation can suffer is the transformation of its land into a theatre of war. Precisely this raging civil revolutionary war in the interior of the country is what we must intensify to the limits. Intensification with every one of our weapons and not with prayers, we face the enemy. From the stone to the pistol and from posters to the expropriations of food from the shelves of supermarkets. The machine of extermination of political opponents of the state is in full force. We should do whatever we can in order to become the sand in its cogwheels. We should be a permanent cost to the captivities of revolutionaries with continuous strikes on social peace and the public life of the country.
Every day that passes, contradictions collide, combine, mature, speak. Our desires for a life that will chase everything free against the ugliness of dominating relations that underestimate everyone of our creative aspects, against materialistic lust, a result of the feigned consuming dreams that are projected by the “advertisers” of capitalism but also the need of the morbid majority to gag its sentimental voids.
Negativism is drowned in the passivity of the universe, it looks for ways out, expressions, aims to bloom, get educated, attack. Its composition-collectivization in the fragmentary events reactions of the total of its life gives strength, free moments, self-realization but does not suffice. These representations are defused before you even begin to express yourself. They finish before you even begin to live them.

Popular moodswing, without making any particular deepening in the feelings that are being born by its long-lasting oppression, gives its position of partially factual, spasmodic “indignation” to the sun of the beaches. Revolutionary prospect requires continuity, duration and the logics of postponement for the “next season” do not concern our case.
Faithful therefore to the revolutionary “call outs” but also to ourselves, we do the obvious: the continuation of revolutionary war. We take therefore the responsibility for the arson of 12 vehicles of O.T.E. (greek telecommunications organization) that were in the outdoor parking lot in Maroussi on the cross of Hatziantoniou and Dionyssis street

“In the chaos of our own existence we are a part of the imponderable element which organizes subversion, plans mutinies, that leave even ourselves dazed. The translation of texts, letters, communiqués, etc. so that comrades in other countries around the world can read about the desires and ideas and projectuality of the comrades in Greece, is one more weapon at our disposal. What began as a simple desire and a challenge, has brought us into a new field of experiences, acquaintances and responsibilities. Now that we’re here, they will not get rid of us easily.
We have become another aspect of the asymmetric threat. The war to the end, has already begun. …”

This is why, as individuals with our actions and solidarity, we will continue with all means possible as anarchist revolutionary insurrectionalists, to express our thoughts and desires, whether it’s through the letters-texts of our fighting comrades who are hostages in the hell-holes of Greek democracy or through the actions of the comrades outside in the streets day and night with all means untilsocial liberation for Anarchy.

Actforfreedomnow - Boubouras

March 2011
From the introduction by Actforfreedomnow – Bourbouras.

A huge storm of revolt raged through the streets of Greece in December 2008. After the 15 year-old Alexis Grigoropoulos was murdered in coldblood by a cop, riots spread throughout the whole country for several weeks. Hundreds of corporate and government targets were attacked, plundered and set on fire. Although it was anarchists and anti-authoritarians who took the lead in this storm during the first week after the murder, it spread itself fast and many people got involved in this revolt against miserable living conditions, against the authorities and against the hopelessness offered by this world to the exploited and oppressed. But the revolt didn’t cease at the end of 2008, neither did it start on the day of the murder. The attacks against the structures of State and Capital went on and spread to several smaller towns in Greece.

About 180 fire attacks and, since a couple of months, artisan [‘homemade’] bombing attacks were carried out under the name of ‘Conspiracy of Cells of Fire’. The attacks targeted banks, car dealers, shopping centres, governmental institutions, police stations, offices of political parties, houses of politicians, judges, criminologists, journalists, private security firms and companies building prisons,… and always accompanied by elegantly critical and nihilistic claims of anarchist responsibility.

The claims did not only criticize Capital, State and Authority (in all of their aspects), but also the resignation of the exploited, their herd mentality, their collaboration with the system. The Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (CCF) refuse to regard oppression and exploitation as simply being imposed by batons and blackmail, but understand it as a social relation in which all have their responsibility –and make or don’t make the choice to fight against it.

In September 2009 extensive anti-terror raids attempted to strike the CCF, these raids became one more political tool to attack the wider anarchist & anti-authoritarian movement, a situation which intensified when two members of the CCF were captured during an operation in November 2010, Athens. Against the ongoing legalistic kidnapping of our comrades and for the escalation of struggle for total liberation, the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire : Illegal Sector called for an informal global project based on anarchist subversion, direct action and international solidarity. These papers document some of the many communiques, letters and legal & court updates concerning the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, the accused comrades of the same case, plus solidarity actions resulting from the call for a formation of an Informal Anarchist Federation / International Revolutionary Front.

Whilst this publication can of course only offer a partial view upon the situation and topics, it is produced in the spirit of rebellion which fuels the total war against domination. It is an unfinished document that seeks collaboration through acts of refusal. The international call which has been circulated for the subversive formation of an International Revolutionary Front / Informal Anarchist Federation (Global), which is based on the principles of international solidarity, permanent subversion and constant conflict should be discussed, debated and acted upon without delay.

Mad arson attacks for Conspiracy of Cells of Fire

Athens, Greece

The communique spontaneously combusted shortly after appearing:

“Saturday night 15/1 and Sunday 16/1 we torched:
- bank of Proton Bank in Vironas area
- Local organization of PASOK (ruling party) in Moshato,
- Two vehicles of a security company in Gizi,
- Personal motorbike of a cop who lives in Exarchia (Asimaki Fotila street).

We dedicate these actions to our imprisoned comrades accused in the case of the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” and tried as of today in the political court marshal in Koridallos prison. Three of those have taken the political responsibility for the organization, while the others deny their participation, but keep intact their rebelliousness and dignity. We pledge that we will not leave any imprisoned revolutionary alone. These violent acts of resistance are not only fair, but also the duty of every person who puts themselves against a world where exploitation and injustice reign and money is in charge. The individual agreements and disagreements are to be discussed; what is non-negotiable is: solidarity between individuals and groups who are fighting for freedom in every way and with any means. Also, towards the new treaty that criminalizes social, political and personal relationships (like in the case of the notorious “safehouse” of Halandri, but recently the case of the four comrades wanted for arson in Thessaloniki), we respond with even more rage and anger, more litres of petrol and butane bottles. Of course, we do not forget the famously disgusting minions of the system, the journalists, who for a salary and a career, mock and step on the freedom and the dignity of our comrades, repeating the lies of the police and presenting various scenarios of their imagination; to try, condemn and destroy lives and reputations, before “civil justice” does it officially. They should know that on this side of the war, memory and honour is in excess, and sooner or later they will pay for the dirty role they have chosen in life.

Finally, we want to say that we chose to act on this theoretically “tough” weekend before the beginning of the trial, when the police have unleashed their obvious and also hidden running dogs, in fear of a new armed attack, to break in this way the terror and fear that the State attempts to impose on society and on people who are fighting. As long as the State is unable to mend the holes of a system that’s collapsing, the noose will tighten and the measures will intensify. We must stand strong and act with all our power, until the Revolution and Liberation, social and individual.

Freedom to H.Hadjimihelakis, P. Argirou, G.Tsakalos who have taken the political responsibility for the “Conspiracy Cells of Fire” and P.Massouras, K.Karakatsani, A.Mitrousias, G.Karagiannidis who are imprisoned for the same case.

Solidarity to all imprisoned anarchists and revolutionaries.

midnight express

İstanbul, Turkey (16.01.2011) - In the night of 16th of January 2011 at 7 p.m. against the biggest one of the shopping centers in Istanbul, Cevahir AVM, there was an attack with fireworks.

The 4 of the exploded 7 fireworks hit the entrance and the windows of shopping center. While fireworks begin to explode, there had been no injury except a little bit panic.

While the banks, shopping centers, fasfoods and other part of the consuming culture reduce imagination and free time to shit and debt, while our planet began to unliveable because of the consumption and commodification, we see a little art-sabotage not inappropriate.

The actions that we took like this is for solidarity with our comrades who are now in hostages in Greece dungeons and with Conspiracy Cells of Fire.
